The CalFresh Healthy Living program is all about getting out in the community to promote and support healthy, active, and nourished lifestyles by teaching Californians about good nutrition and how to stretch their food dollars, while also building partnerships in the community to make the healthy choice, the easy choice.

Mobile Pantry

CalFresh Healthy Living has a partnership with the DNATL Community Food Council and the Pacific North Fresh Mobile pantry.  We do recipe demonstrations and taste testing to engage with our community in outlying areas of the county.

 

Klamath- 1st Tuesday of the month.

Smith River- 3rd Tuesday of the month.

Food Rescue Del Norte

CalFresh Healthy Living has a partnership with the DNATL Community Food Council and the Pacific Pantry.  This program offers edible food recovered from markets, businesses, and institutions.  The food offered changes weekly but could include pre-made/ready to eat food, bakery items, shelf stable food, meat, dairy, fruit, drinks, and more.  Waste not weekly is offered every Thursday 2-4pm at the Pacific Pantry.
No sign up or ID required and everyone welcome!
